I'm 6' 6" and I prefer a seat with worn webbing.  Also, no seatback
modification is necessary - It will lean back until it hits the package
shelf.  Unfortunately, when your folding top is down, it prevents the seat
from leaning all the way.  Therefore, I use the pack-away top - it also
frees up the package shelf, which is the only useable storage space in the
car!
