Hey Gang!
I got my new leaf springs on complete with new spring plates and urethane
bushings. It is so nice to see her sitting on all four wheels again.
Now I need to start the next project, replacing the motor and trans mounts. I
hope to get started on it this weekend since I am running out of time before
the upcoming rally season starts again ;-)
Are there any tricks that I need to know to replacing the mounts ? I have all
five of the mounts that Moss and VB seem to show for the 1974 1275 Midget, the
front motor mounts, the right and left trans mounts, and the center trans
mount. Is there a prefered sequence in which to do this? Any stupid mistakes
that I should avoid? Anything else I should be doing at the same time? TIA
