Hi all,
Have begun to tackle the front bushings replacement on the 'B. I'm
using the red Polyurethane set. After looking over the set of bushings
I have a couple of questions for those that have done this before.
1. The old bushings had metal "pivot tubes" that the fulcrum pin passed
through. The new do not. Assume the new one do not get a metal tubes.
2. Not sure how I'll get the sway bar bushings inserted with the large
lip on both ends. They look slightly short too. Guessing I'll soften
them in hot water before I try to press them in.
Anyone been there-done that?
