Listers, Ok the" wrong hub, wrong side" thread is wearing thin, but it made me think of this. I apologize if this has been answered before but I missed it. If in fact towing a wire wheeled car backwards loosens the knock offs, wouldn't backing the car up or out of the drive way have the same effect. Or is this countered when the car is driven forward again and therefore the hubs are retightend. I can see how worn hubs and wheel splines could create problems in this theory. Mark |
