We need a public service announcement, or maybe an after-school TV special.

"Hi, I'm Scott Baio. You may think it's cool to buy a Little British Car,
but I'm here to tell you it's an addiction. You'll just keep buying and
buying. It will never be enough."

So, I just bought a 71B. Now, I havent driven the 73 more than the 14 miles
from the PO's house to mine, because it's slated for rebuild. But this one,
which had been in a wreck where it rear ended another car, was too good to
pass up.

Most of the car is in damn fine shape, result of a good restoration. Newly
rebuilt Engine. Good interior, pristine dash, great paint job, no obvious
rust, new chrome. New Peco header and exhaust, new fuel pump, etc.

The front needs some work, damaged bonnet, both wings and front valance
removed. No front bumber or grille, etc.

So now I have to figure out where to keep this thing so the wife doesnt find
out. I'm considering selling the 73, or maybe building it as a racer. Who
knows.

Why didnt someone warn me that this was an addiction?

So, now in need of new body panels, I have to ask...

Anyone have any experience with fiberglass panels like the ones from Smooth
Line (www.smoothline.com)?
