Just got back from two weeks in Scotland including a day trip to London. Saw a
total of 4 MGs, including one BGT in the Glasgow Museum of transport. The other
three consisted of an MGF in Glasgow, a BGT by Heathrow Airport and a CB tourer
that flew by me in the Scottish Highlands.
The BGT in the Glasgow Museum makes one want to cry. It looks as if it
hasn't even been washed since it was driven in from a muddy street. The
off-side door mirror is missing. It's a shame. In fact, none of the cars look
as if they're being cared for, all look as if they are just the way they were
when they were received. Maybe it's budgetary in nature. The trolley exhibits
seem well cared for.
