So I was at Sears one day. Buying some tool. The guy in front of me had his
used #2 Phillips in his hand, you know the type, the
one you probably have in your tool box, the tip is worn out. He asks the clerk
for a replacement. I was shocked. I'm thinking,
geez guy, the thing is just worn out, buy a new one. The clerk smiled, took
the old screwdriver, threw it in a box filled with old
tools, walked over to the shelf and handed the guy a new screwdriver. He
walked out ... one happy camper. I told the clerk I'd be
right back, I went to my car, sorted through my toolbox in the trunk, found my
old worn out Phillips and brought it in for an
exchange. Now I'm one happy camper.
