<Cut the heads off of some 1/4 inch bolts and use them in the place of fuses>
Ah yes, that would be the 1/4-20 400Amp modification.
Now that my restoration of our '58 MGA is approaching the length of the total
original production run, I'm actually getting down to some substantive issues
like putting it back together again.
A thought has occurred to me that I'd like to bounce off some of the more
learned &/or opinionated members of the group. Having spent considerable
time getting various little dings out of the fenders, I'm wondering about
doing something to minimise future road-debris bodywork alterations. Would
it do any good to try coating the inside of the fenders, splash guards,
fender wells, etc. with one of these brush-on bed liner products designed for
pickups? I'm thinking it might be a bit more durable, abrasion resistant,
and sound/vibration damping than normal undercoating.
Opinions?
