Hi list, I wanted to share with the list something I feel can be of help to
others. I have been driving quite a bit on my shinny red B with out any
problems. However, when I returned home I noticed that my engine was a bit
hot although not overheating. I placed my hand behind the radiator and
noticed that only half of the radiator was cool. Hmmmm? both fans worked
fine and kicked in at correct temperature? A closer look and the righthand
fan was turning the wrong way! How could this happen if the fan clips to
the harness can only go in one direction? It turns out that the wires in
the clips were flipped from factory. I took the clip apart flipped the
wires and WBTM* problem fixed. Now the engine works much cooler and after a
long ride there is very little radiant heat from the engine
compartment. Cheers, Enrique
*wham bam thank you mam.
