Another popular discussion - carb damper fluid. I use mineral oil,
literally. I believe the Haynes manual said to use mineral oil, and back
before I really knew what that meant, I starting buying mineral oil at the
drug store. This is also referred to as "baby oil" although the baby oil is
scented.
I've been using this stuff in my SU carbs for more than a decade and now
have it in my ZS carbs.
Its nice and lightweight and doesn't thicken in cold temperatures like
motor oil.
