Everything I've read suggests that the gremlins blamed on Mr. Lucas are
almost always the result of loose or corroded connections (not that there
aren't a lot of them in any Lucas system, many of which are hidden inside
those little Lucas black rubber tubes covering the Lucas bullet connectors).
Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance!
