Isn't 'Webber' the BBQ? In any case, your assertion is misleading. A properly
set up 45 DCOE Weber will flow a bit more air than a '6' series SU, and a
fair bit less than a 2" SU. Remember that the SU has a rise in the floor -
the jet bridge, that partially blocks the venturi, and that as a constant
depression type of carb, even with the throttle wide open, the piston will
also block a (usually considerable) portion of the passage.
And there are bigger (and much rarer) Webers than the 45, like the 52 DCOE,
and others that looked like drainpipes. so be careful about saying that the
SU flows more than ANY Weber - it just isn't so.
