Battery Condition; was : adding an ammeter to a RBB (& water)

Just a reminder that an easy way to check the condition of the battery and 
charging system without adding/changing any wireing is with a voltmeter.  
There are units available that plug into the cigarette lighter so you can 
plug it in and watch it while driving when you wish to check then put it out 
of the way.
No muss no fuss.
