Just a brief sad note on the passing of the Westminster Fraternity Tour
in Vermont traditionally held on the Columbus Day weekend. Since my
club, British Motor Cars of New England, was on its annual FoliageFest
weekend in Mass., NH, and Vermont, we cruised to the site of the former
Fraternity Tour on the grounds of the now closed MG Museum in
Westminster, Vermont. Approximately 30 cars slowly filed by with heavt
hearts. Sad to report the grass has overgrown the site and the entrance
road was roped off so there was no access. A moment of silence was
observed to honor what had been an awesome tradition for those of us in
the northeast.
