Hi Guys,
I just signed on the list. My 68 GT will be arriving around the 1st from my
brother-in-law who would rather have a PU truck to play with. Some of you I
know from my days on the Healey and e-jag lists.
So why MG?? Glad you asked! Had my first MG (TF1500) in 1956. Then came
e-FHC, more MG B's and A, Fiat(sorry), MGB, Tiger, XK-150(ground up
concours), Healey 3000, another concours 65e roadster. Guess which car I
enjoyed working on and driving the most? You probably won't believe me, but
it was my 73 B with O/D. At 64 years with tired knees I began to eye
Miatas, but my conscience got the best of me and so I'm eagerly awaiting my
GT. NO more concours, just a darn nice driving MG from now on!
Thanks for the bandwith,
Mike Winney
