You are in luck, as the rusty spots on a GT correspond exactly to the
rusty spots on a roadster, with the possible exception of the lower
tailgate. Just look for the problems you already know about, such as
the sills, jacking points...

GT's use the same parts as the roadsters most of the time. Brake and
clutch
parts are easy to get.
