Not only did I get to meet the wizard at New Castle, but the entire show
was quite a put-on (the good sense). Weather great, drive down was superb
(40 m). Even my RBB B ran super except when the cruise control took over.
That is, the accelerator stuck at 65mph, edging up to 70. Took about 5
minutes to release the freeze...actually, stepping up to 75 did it. My SO
didn't realize what all my fussing was about so the trip was 'uneventful'
except for its pleasure.

New Castle (Delaware) has a pre-18th century section so it is a tourist
trap. That area was also where the show was located. Amongst the really
great cars (mine is nice but it is a RBB and other than it is still on the
road, nothing special a la history), a choice Morgan and a 1932(3?) Jag
racer, in my
opinion, took the day. As always, the Austin-Healey's were terrific as
were the pre'57 MG's. Nice collection of A's and Nash Metropolitans. I
thought Grease (ugh) must have had a stage production somewhere
close.

And after sitting in Paul's Midget with his rebuilt seats, I now
know that the understraps of my seat are fritzed. Time to rebuild. Ride
home was equally uneventful which made my SO and me happy.

A fine show put on by the Britsh Car Club of Delaware. Thanks guys.
