3m makes an adhesive, 3M5200...great stuff, but once bonded, it's
forever,
its a marine application sealant...and is impervious to oil, gasoline,
mother-in-laws advice , etc...so be forwarned that if you ever need to
remove it, the parts bonded will remain so and material on either side
of the bond will be ripped loose before the bond
if you need a source, any marine supply should have it in stock
