It should be straightforward, with only the usual rusty fasteners to
deal with. Use some penetrating oil on them. Siphon out all that you
can before starting, and keep a fire extinguisher handy.
Do you have a new tank to replace it with? Don't expect this one to be
serviceable, the top is probably rusted out. Sometimes a good radiator
shop will also rebuild gas tanks as long as the top is all that needs
replacing, but most of these old MGB tanks are not salvageable.
