Paul:
Robert Bentley is a book publisher, and in this instance publishes worksop
manuals for cars, just like Chiltons, Haynes, etc. I have only one Bentley
published book which covers all MGs up to the TF. It seems mostly to be a
condensed reprint of portions of original shop manuals. The Haynes book I have
covers the MGA. This manual is actually written from a real tear down and
assembly of the cars components and is accompanied by photographs done of that
teardown. To me, it is a great supplement of the factory manual.

Well it don't say that in my Leyland Workshop Manual and you can't get more
'official' than that. Just who is this Bentley bloke anyway, and what does
"with ot without overdrive" mean anyway?
