Cal MG in North Carolina

Hello list,
 Saw a 60's? (vertical grill) B yesterday in Beaufort, N.C. Nice looker, 
cream/ivory with a burgundy Parrish top and interior.  Looked like it had an 
early AC system on the trans-tunnel. California vanity plates ("Fun MG" i 
believe).  

Anyone seen it in California?  The burgundy top looked wonderful on the car.  
Did not see the owner.
