I keep my sunglasses on to stop any stray drops hitting me in the eye -
and because it looks extra cool, especially when it is raining :-)
On the way to a recent race meeting I stopped at the same petrol station
as a couple in a clubman. It was early morning, freezing and
threatening rain. They put their full-face helmets on and in their
driving suits with driving gloves they looked quite cosy. I thought
about doing the same (for about a second...), but didn't :-)
It is fine on the track but has anyone thought of driving with a helmet
on? Surely you wouldn't be able to hear the cries of derision through
the helmet.
