I just looked in an old issure of MGA! regarding body numbers versis chassis numbers. The material was put together by Bill Gallihugh of NAMGAR. Body numbers 55000-60999 were fitted to MGA 1500's VIN numbers 44201-50500. According to Clausager, these chassis, 44201-50500, would have been produced late 1957-mid 1958. Clausager's book shows that engine 15GBUH40119 was produced after 40105 March 1958 and before 40825 April 58. Blake |
