| My angle drive looked fine when I removed it. And it turned fine. There was 
some slight wear on the square rod, which must have caused it to slip at 
the point where it connected to the transmission. But it wasn't readily 
apparent at the time. I suspected the worse - that the problem was in the 
transmission.
I just hooked up my cable direct to my OD transmission, just trying to make 
sure there were no sharp turns in the cable. And the speedometer now works 
after not working for about a year.
