Hello Mark: Simple enough to fix... at least on the A-series engines. You could either remove the distributor clamp and try to hammer it flat on an anvil (cheap method, might work) or simply buy a new distributor clamp (less than $20, I think) They bend at the thinnest section after they have been opened and closed too many times.
