You're kidding...right?!?
I case you aren't kidding, the brake fluid thread goes around every 3 to 6
months. It has actually been a while, so here is MY OPINION.
Use Castrol GT LMA brake fluid. It is the original spec fluid. It is a DOT
4 brake fluid. Do not use DOT 3 brake fluid in your B. It may eat the
seals. (Like a kiler whale.) Actually, most DOT 4 brake fluids should work
fine, and Valvoline makes a synthetic DOT 4.
I personally, do not use DOT 5 (silicone brake fluid) because I have read
some things about it that I didn't like. Check out the tech section at
www.vtr.org for more on brake fluid. If you are building a trailer queen
show car, DOT 5 would be the choice, but not for a driver.
Good luck,
