I refer to my leaky rear main and hole in the bell housing w/anti-clog
cotter pin as a factory "advanced self oil-changing system" -- a master
stroke on the part of the engineers in Abingdon.
Very simple to use too, just add oil, and it drains out slowly, continue
adding new oil, repeat the process. You always have fresh oil in the engine
this way, right?
Affixing a permanent drip can would obviously reduce the efficiency of the
"automatic drainage gauge" (the spot on the driveway) which is a vital part
of this brilliant system.
