The day is lovely. First without rain in ?a week? with rain predicted off &
on for the long weekend (but George Clinton is coming to Philly on Monday
and that is worth the trip in the rain!). With much tinkering, my 76B with
HIF's and no catalytic converter passed the NJ inspection. Am I happy?? fur
sure. That's 2 more years without the limitations of our QQ (historic) plates.

Seriously, my mechanic mentioned that the front bushings will need to be
replaced in the near future and more seriously, the timing had to be
manually adjusted away from the recommended 10-13 BTDC position suggesting
an aged and exhausted timing chain.

Tell me yo experts: what kind of jobs are these? Amateur potential???
Serious labor???

I'm up for trying but not till the sun goes away in December.

Thoughtful Memorial Day to you all in the States,

Bill
