Sorry, I cannot get to the list this morning. It keeps shooting back at
me. I believe that many are in the same boat today, I can recieve mail
sent to the list from the few who can but not send. Could you forward
this to the list for me as I will not be able to access my mail again
untill tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.
Carl

Sorry to bomb the list with this but I had been contacted by a few
people who had expressed interest in the car. The sale here fell
through at the last minute and I was unable to find the addresses of
all who written me. So here goes,
74 MGB Roadster, 67k indicated on the clock, rebuilt front end with V8
bushings, new water pump, new alternator, new (used) radiator, bearing
changed within the last 18 months, Old English White (fair respray)
about 4 years ago, sills and patch panels then also. very complete
undercoating job done, small hole in floor noted from underneath but
well patched above it (about 1x2 inches) not other rust noted to car,
person who did paint was no rembrandt with the filler, he did a good
solid job but I've seen better. Excellant 185/75/14 rubber mounted on
rostyles, no O/D, Interior excellant, seat faces are unmarked and there
are only 2-3 cuts all 1 cm or less to rest of seats. Dash excellant,
one
1/2 cm crack (linear) to dash and thats it. Speedo jumps abit but have
rebuilt right angle to put in. Top in great shape looks new from 5 feet
plastic is very clear, has full and short tonneaus. Full carpets,
clutch releases high but works great with no slip, very strong engine
pulls really nice, brakes are fine but not new, chrome not new but
passing, rear is the more tired of the two, new exhaust.
I was just rambling there as things popped into my head, ask me any
more questions you want. I have had the car for about 850 miles as an
emergency car when I had no working cars I no longer need it now. This
is a very nice car, I have had my mechanic check it out (he actually
knew of the car before I purchased it). Mark McLean of Mcleans/Britbits
also checked it out for me and their comments/findings are included
above.
I am asking $5800
The car and I are located in Alfred, Maine which is 40 minutes north
of Portsmouth, NH
