Geoff,
I to have never had any particular problems with the LUCAS alternator. It
is the one piece of electrical equipment I don't have to replace on a
regular basis! SO unless he feels the need for higher output, go to
Autozone and purchase a rebuilt Lucas alternator. They come with a life
time replacement guarantee.!!
