I just have assembled the carbs with dry gaskets.
Is it recommended to redo this with grease applied to the carbs?
Should this be done on both sides and all gaskets in this circuit - inlet
fanifold f.i.?

Well, I did and it runs fine!  Well, except for the mixture (work on that
this week) and having to use my old pistons and covers as the 'new' rebuilt
ones from Univ. Mtrs were not properly matched and would not travel up and
down without significant assistance from my finger.  They are being returned
today.
