I double checked with the NJ DMV regarding only having to use one
License Plate when the vehicle has Historic Plates effective May 1st.

Most states that are a Member of the Uniform Motor Vehicle Code Act (means
they reciprocate and have same basic laws) will not cite for non-display of
front plate AS LONG AS it is IN the car and you can offer evidence as to why
you don't have it displayed, i.e., Big Healey with no holes in bumper,
Frogeye - ditto, etc., etal.
BTDT.
That said, should you NOT have said plate...ooops is not an excuse!
Cheers..........

PS: Certainly hope that Operator is in compliance with "...use of said
titled & plated vehicle..." whilst being stopped<G> with those "historic
plates" (as most are not).
