Eric; Sure, it was most likely a momentary thermostat malfunction. They do that sometimes before they fail completly. My suggestion is to have a replacement on hand and watch the temp until it's replaced. In the meanwhile if this occurs again you could try a tap on the block fitting that holds the offensive part. Sometimes that will jar it into opening. George |
