Well todays Keystone MG Flea Market was a complete washout - Terry Allen
and myself arrived at the flea market (me in my BGT and Terry in a
loaded down Land Rover) at 8am - about 7 venders were already set up -
but three of them were already packing up due to light rain! No amount
of cajoling would get them to change their minds to wait it out.
Eventually every one packed it in and left. :(
While there a bunch of us got to talking about the Carlise event and how
the management there has treated the British Car Community by giving
"our" weekend to the Kustom Kompacts and moving us to September. We are
brainstorming the idea of creating a Carlise "T" party (named after the
Boston Tea Party) for next year - getting all the local British Clubs
and all the vendors to come to a site - possibly todays flea market site
- and boycotting Carlise completly.
Does anyone have any comments?
