Is the left over wire the one that dims the lights or the one that makes them 
flicker.

My son has been working on a couple of BMWs lately.  The wireing in them 
makes Lucas seem favorable.  It was impossible to make a generic radio, just 
like the one we put in the MG, work in their system.  If the radio worked 
something else failed until it was removed.  Had to go back to the stock 
radio.  Not good enough for a teen.
