Oil Pan baffle

Hi Guys
The schematic is indeed in the Bentley book. I think that it works fine, but 
I do have one or two things to say about it. The baffle only covers the oil 
and will stop oil wash that tries to move to one side or the other. The 
problem, as I see it, is what happens to the oil under hard braking? or even 
under hard acceleration? The oil can wash toward the front or rear of the pan 
under these conditions and result in aerated oil or even a loss of oil 
pressure.
I have made up a similar conversion that includes a form of windage tray, or 
flap valve that will prevent the oil washing under any circumstances. You can
