I would not just jack up the suspension under the spring tray with a jack.
The Lower arm must be disassembled to get them off the mounts and then
replace the rubber bushings. You really should use a coil spring compressor
to get the pressure off the lower assembly. The spring compressor type that
will slip up into the small hole at the bottom of the lower spring tray which
the for and aft arms mount to. They are not very expensive, and the job
would be much safer.
