I agree that the logo should be free of restrictions. If you take it even
further you have to ask if anyone got permission to use the MG logo? I think
the list hat is great, I think a list shirt is great. Let's enjoy this great
hobby!

IMHO,
If the logo in question is not the property of a person, persons or legal
entity,
and has been published on the Internet for all to download for the free use
of
anyone interested, I think it is inappropriate to try to restrict anyone's
use at
this stage. The price of a bare cap or T-shirt plus whatever software,
firmware,
etc. I would have to buy to print my own is well worth whatever either party
is
charging. I don't see that anyone has exclusive rights to the use of the
logo, and
I doubt anyone will use it to become the next Bill Gates. Don't get too
serious
about any of this... it's a hobby, let's enjoy it before Uncle Sam decides
it is
illegal to smile while driving topless (I mean top down!) at 45 mph.
