As Rick mentioned most parts for our cars are made by one or two vendors to 
Moss, SF, VB etc.  According to some reliable sources it is not feasible to 
have more than one vendor on some of these items so you will find the quality 
will vary in many cases from one run to another.  Much like furniture for 
example.
