So this little, tiny lock washer broke on the cinch bolt on the rod and the engine started knocking and I tore it apart and many other parts were worn and now I'm into a full fledged engine rebuild. I would appreciate input regarding special "tricks," general suggestions and advice to build a really "sweet" engine. I am taking the position that dependability "nudges out" performance on most decisions to be made. |
