Just a quick note to let you know a friend of mine is auctioning off a 74
MG he's got sitting in his back lot...it's on ebay at:

Basically, the car was running and parked in his back lot and someone
started picking away at it, etc. No dash, front axle, right door, lights,
etc., but it does seem to still have a very nice engine, drive
train/transmission, gas tank(it's been pulled and is in the
trunk...doesn't look rusted), etc. Even the rubber hoses on the engine
still looked good...
I turned the engine by hand...the smog pump seemed to be frozen. The car
also has two good side window frames, windshield frame (glass is cracked),
5 spoke wheels, front bumper (looks real nice) fog lights (have some rust
inside from water that has collected and sat) rear bumper (needs some
straightening)...the only kicker is the purchaser will have to come haul
it off...

If someone is interested, I'd be happy to answer questions or go out and
check to see if a part is there, etc. Unfortunately, this is an all or
