For that kind of money you can buy a tow dolly or kick in a some more and have
a pretty good trailer. I just bought a nice 7x14, dual axle trailer (used)
for $750. I know the discussion for and against tow dollys, but for a one
time ride it might be ok and they rent for a whole lot less than the
trailers. I am a tow dolly supporter, used one for several years and only got
the trailer to tow my MGC GT automatic with.
