Call a trucking company and tell them you are shipping "Used Junk Auto 
Parts", the rate is about 1/4 of what the "Auto Parts" rate is.  go figgure.  
I discovered this this wrinkle when I worked for an auto racing team and had 
to ship trans cores back to Borg Warner for rebuilding.

PS if you specify a liftgate truck it will cost more, but will make life a 
whole lot eaiser if you do not have a loading dock.
