Hi folks,

I was staring at the demolished sliding yoke end of the B's driveshaft
today when my eyes happened to fall upon the driveshaft that was originally in
Lazarus, my 52TD. Lazarus had been the victim of a Volvo B16B engine implant,
which included a lengthened diveshaft to meet up with the Volvo transmission.
The sliding yoke sure bore a resemblance to the one from the B. Long story
short --- it fit perfectly. And --- it has a virtually new u-joint with grease
fitting. I checked Moss' TD & MGB catalogs --- sure enough -- same part
numbers.

Y'see, sometimes being a pack rat comes in handy. Now if I can only find
some use for the Volvo B16B and transmission ...
