Right Larry, but they are in a way a poor choice. The Lotur pistons have
valve cut outs that reduce compression, but more seriously, are a lower
compression height, which means that you must shave a good chunk off the
block (and you really don't want to do this!) to get back up to where you
should be.
It all started a few years ago with a surplus of Lotus Cortina Hepolite
Powermax forged pistons.
By far the better route is to have forged (or cast, for the street) flat tops
made with the correct height.
