I would like to get some opinions as to the cause and possible correction to the following problem with a 1951 MG TD distributor. Since reassembling the engine after having the valve guides honed I now have oil entering the distributor. I have replaced the lower drive gear and all washer's are inplace. Over a long drive, 100 plus miles, enough oil enters the distributor body as to start fouling the ignition. Any help or advise is greatly appreciated. Rob Camblin 51 MGTD 60 MGA 75 Spitfire |
