Waxoyling an MGBGT

I'm in the process of rustproofing my 78 GT. I've done the 
undersealing and I want to have a go at the internal 
sections with waxoyl over the weekend. Does anybody have 
any tips they would like to share. This is my first time 
attempting such a job.
