driver side "lean"

Much has been written about how Bs and GTs lean to the drivers side
giving the impression theat an elephant is in the drivers seat. Whilst
this might be true in certain cases, i noticed something this weekend
that surprised me.
My GT had had the "lean": for as long as i had owned it and i had put it
down to tired rear springs (judging from the condition of the drivers
seat when i go  the car one of the POs WAS an elephant) - it never
bothered me much and didnt seem to affect the handling.
After the cars recent front end rebuild, the "lean" is gone -  so my
guess is that it is caused by the front springs and not the rear ones -
just thought i'd share....
