There are two ways that I use to break these free. Typically the
muscles used to clench a fist are very strong (especially in some trades).
By using two wrenches with only about 10 degrees between them, one hand can
grasp the two handles and by sqeezing break loose the nut.
The other also involves two wrenches with one of them (the bolt
head) jammed against the tunnel edge. I have also used a long
screwdriver/pry bar inserted into the yoke to prevent the drive shaft from
rotating.

Of the two techniques, the first seems to work the best. I have
found that I can put a tremendous amount of torque on the bolt with a lot of
control. So far I have never rounded off a bolt head. The technique works
best if you can use 2 box end, high quality wrenches (spanners).

Kelvin.
