Hey everyone, when I start my B it seems to take a couple of seconds for the
oil pressure to come up. In the meantime the engine is making all kinds of
noise until it does.(mostly when the choke is on 1500 rpm) Once it is I
have 55 at idle and 70 at highway speed. It has an oil cooler and I changed
it to the spin on filter (GFE-121) I was just looking though John Twist's
Q&A archive and he didn't exactly seem to sure if oil coolers help all that
much. Maybe someone changed his mind since he wrote it, not sure when. But
it does add alot of places to fill up before the pressure comes up. Should
I just take the cooler out or do I have to live with it. Maybe I have a
problem with the pump. Anyone got any ideas? I'm running QS 20w50 syn.
blend.
